Frequently Asked Questions:

1.What happens in therapy?
During the initial stages of therapy, I will complete a comprehensive assessment of all issues related to your current concerns. I will listen respectfully to your ideas about the goals on which you would like to work, as well as your thoughts regarding the obstacles you perceive to be inhibiting your progress toward those goals.

My extensive experience from both clinical training and my psychotherapy practice will guide all questions asked and observations made in order to gain the insight needed for you to make long-standing changes. We will work together as a team to develop the new and creative solutions needed to meet your goals.

2. How long are typical sessions?
All sessions are conducted on the 50-minute hour.

3. Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I am on a variety of insurance panels including BC/BS PPO, PHCS, and Aetna; and I bill each of these companies directly.

4. What other forms of payment do you accept?
I accept payment in the form of both cash and check. Payment is due at time of service.

5. How do I schedule an appointment?
